I have a couple of people that want me to put displays of our products in their stores and sell on consignment. First, is this a good idea, and second what kind of display? At first I thought about a square tubing frame to hang stuff on, but that sounds kind of cheesy.
Any thoughts / experiences?
thanks
Kerry

Trust me, I could write a book on the perils of consignment . . . .

Yep don't do it. I have tried it in 2 different places they just want the space rent and their cut of each sale. It made me sick when i did the math for a year at the last place. The shop owner made more money than i did from my signs. I still have shop owners contacting me i just tell them i will sell you the pieces out right and that ends the conversation quick. Some of them actually get mad when i wont consign with them.
