Does anyone know if this greencut stuff works for cutting aluminum?
I was always told you couldn't cut aluminum with a water table because it gave off a hydrogen gas. But someone told me he saw a place where they used this greencut stuff mixed into the water and it was safe.
Is anyone using this stuff? Does it keep the water from evaporating slower?
Thanks, Gary

Re: greencut cutting fluid for your water table
We have had good success with the greencut for cutting aluminum. We get ours from here:

When we had questions about using greencut before we bought it, I called lubecorp on their 800 number and they were really helpful. After what I have read, I would not use plasma quench. The nitrite in it can change into nitrates under the heat of the torch. Nasty stuff to breathe. I want to be around in a few years for my grand kids. Not dying of cancer.
Just my 2 cents.
