Power max 45 hand torch
I've got a hand torch I'm planning on using on my table with Mach 3. I saw where you can run a jumper wire from pin to pin and make it think it's a machine torch . I'm wondering what type of wire to use to make it work Thanks

Re: Power max 45 hand torch
As a Hypertherm employee I cannot suggest wiring modifications that allow the use of a hand torch (designed for hand cutting and trigger switch activation) for machine cutting....as this essentially bypasses the safety trigger circuitry that is designed into the system.
That being said, you can look at the electrical wiring for the trigger switch circuitry on the wiring diagram in your operators manual....from that diagram you can determine how to bypass the torch trigger switch for remote firing needs.
The best way is to use the machine torch for your Powermax45....it can be activated using the rear panel CPC (cnc interface) plug for a safe, easy electrical interface to your machine.
