Have a 4x8 table but measures 60" internally. Customers saw blade is 56" wide. I'm assuming that as long as I have the blade centered etc it should be a straight forward cut. Any suggestions would be appreciated as far as type of steel settings. I don't want to mess this up as its a one shot deal. Its a pretty strait forward image deer standing out in open area and some tall trees on the other side and customer's last name on bottom. I've also post the image to cut am struggling with getting it to clean up properly for a dxf would appreciate any help.....

Re: Cutting design in large saw blade
Circular blades such as that cut as normal steel will. Follow the guide lines of your machine for cutting the thickness of the material and you should be all right. If you are nervous put a line or small design in above the deer and put on a separate layer and cut that first to check how it cuts for you..

As Bill said, you have a void or waste area above the deer to let you try a test cut first.
When I have cut saw blades and similar on customers own materials I price it as I would if I was cutting it out of my own piece of 16 gauge sheet, that way I can do a test cut first just to be sure, dont include the text and you can hang it on your wall and someone will see it and want to buy it.

And if you are concerned about your table dimensions, throw it on and do a dry run and see if it can hit everything.

Thanks for the replies. Now all I need is to convert this to a dxf. For some reason I can't seem to get it to convert properly.

fix your O so the center doesn't drop out
and before you cut it out; the text is not even.

The 'e' will drop out also, and the little spot on the 'W' looks to drop out too.

Not sure I will get to post. It has their cattle brands and name so I feel I best ask permission.
