i have just started to get into cnc plasma. i have been acid washing to get the mill scale off before i paint. it rusts real fast.

Re: acid/sandblasting
If I am just painting a piece I leave the mill scale and prime and paint. I only remove the mill scale when I want a polished finish or use the Steel FX patinas.
