Need help adding text to a dxf

I am very new to design. I have several dxf files that I want to add a name to personalize a sign. I have Bobcad, Inkscape and Coreldraw X6. Can someone please explain or guide me to a tutorial that explains the process to accomplish this? Thank you in advance for your help.
