this is interesting, are you getting into mechanical drawing now.

I've had nothing to do with Corel Cad but just thought I'd mention if you are after any 3D capabilities you may want to check out Geomagic (stupid name, it used to be called Alibre Design). This is a 3D solid modelling program and I use it whenever I design mechanical items. It's great seeing a 3D component on your screen and rotating it, or taking a cross section cut, etc.
