CAD software for Mac

Post by jefheff »

Just purchased a cnc table to use in welding shop at school. One issue I am having is all of the cad software is for windows based machines and we have macs at school. Any ideas on designing artwork on a Mac?

I use draftsight on my Mac. Its free and very similer to AutoCAD.

We use AutoCAD 2010 at work, and the transition between the two programs is fairly easy, as is the learning curve. I've used it (draftsight) to edit dxf files from here on the forums as well as for a few personal artistic endeavors, although I'd still consider myself wet-behind-the-ears CAD guy.
