Help joining lines....please!
Ok so I have this guy who needs these plates cut for a kick plate on a stair case. He drew it out in auto-cad and gave it to me in a DXF. When I open in Corel all the lines that make up the drawing are seperated. How would I join all these lines so when I bring it up in sheetcam the total job only has 5 pierces? Any help is much appriciated!!!

There's a really awesome tool in Corel called "Join Curves". You can find it under the "Affects" pull down menu. It is located on the very bottom. Select it and it should open up in your flyout menu's. Select the entire drawing, then set your gap tolerance (usually 0.1" is perfect) then hit "apply". That will join all your segments into one line.
Hope that helps.

It's in X5 on Bill, don't think it was in previous versions under "Arrange", Gamelord explains it very well here. http://www.plasmaspider.com/viewtopic.p ... des#p44761

Thanks for the help it cut out great. It's going to get me in the door I hope with this sheet metal shop 1/2 mile down the road. Cut it out of 10 ga hot roll. These are kick plates for a stair case. No grinding.
