I am looking to build a rotary tube/pipe cutter, does anyone have some experience at that?
Thanks a lot!

Are you just looking to cut the pipe, or put designs in it?

Primarily cope the ends, but also do decorative cuts. We have a 12 foot long table and the gantry goes beyond the edge of the table approximately 24 inches on the Y axis

Torchmate sells a tubing cutter kit that will do what you are wanting.

We have a torchmate x with the pipe cutter on the x axis. Works well but it takes about 10 or 15 mins to move the torch to the side and set up the rollers. We have mainly used it for cutting coupes in 3 inch tube. We have also used it to do straight cuts. Just load a 10 foot tube hit start and pick up the 11 pieces. If you go to our website there is a video of it cutting. www.ashko.com

Thanks JJ. Ya this site really helps a lot. The base tubes on our black mesh chair are the ones I was talking about. I have a ton more pictures of stuff but haven't got around to posting them. As for the tube attachment there is not much to it. It is a fairly simple design.
