You plasma cutter will consume less than 7 scfm of air making it easy and affordable to size and air dryer specifically for your plasma cutting operation.

Refrigerated dryers like this http://plasmaspider.com/shop/dryers.html are maintenance free and work very well. I would recommend this to anyone who will be using the plasma cutter for many hours each day. Be sure to properly filter the air before it reaches the dryer to prevent damage to the unit. To further improve air quality after that in the future you can add a desiccant type dryer which has a lower dew point and will remove more humidity.

If you are only using your plasma cutter a little each day and don't want a refrigerated unit plugged in all day I would recommend a desiccant filter/dryer combination like this http://plasmaspider.com/shop/dryer_sharpe6760.html which has your filtration and drying needs covered all in one. This will require that you dry out or replace the desiccant beads once they are saturated however if the plasma is not running all day these changes will not be very often. This is a great starter setup since it comes with everything needed for quality air supply and has very low dew point. You can improve upon this by adding a refrigerated unit in the future which will dramatically increase the length of time between desiccant changes.

Hope this helps.
