Tracking consumable life
I am using a Dynatorch XL-R8 and I am looking for the best and most efficient way to keep track of consumable life. The Dynatorch software has a cycle counter and pierce counter but as I found in a recent project the cycle counter only trips over if you have cut for a full 30 seconds (I had over 100 pierce and almost 400 feet of cutting done and the cycle counter still read 0). As many of the parts I am cutting take far less than that, is there not a more accurate way to assign a number to the life of a tip. Is there a good way to track cut distance rather than uptime in large blocks using this software?

Re: Tracking consumable life
I did it the old fashion way...pen and paper. Wish my software had a way of doing it for me. Bob.

I have a xlr-8 also, my counter works great. My problem is I forget to reset it.
