Trying to save time making fonts ready to cut

Trying to save myself a little time.

Is there a program that I can type words into, and it will make them cut ready? So I dont have to change the letters with insides, like O's, P's etc.

Looked in deskengrave for the font, couldn't find it. Is there another place to look?

Desk Engrave will convert any font into a DXF file. It sounds like you need to find the fonts that have the letters "stenciled", or have bridges from the outside of the letter to the middle of the O's, A's, etc.

Look here for some options (scroll down past the "commercial fonts") http://www.dafont.com/search.php?q=stencil

If you see one you like, download and install it, then it will appear in the list of available fonts for Desk Engrave (or any other program) to use.

You might want to give Stencil Font a try. It will set up the bridges in the A,O,P,B.... Free download, works with all fonts. It is easy to use and is adjustable for different size bridges. Saves the letters as DXF file, works pretty well.

Thanks for the help. I'm using Autocad and was able to down load the stencils from dafont and use them. Will be a big time saver.

Yes Murry, that's the one. Sorry I did not provide the link. I had a honey do that was MUCH more important.....so I could not complete the post.
I use stencil font all the time, very easy to use. I usually set the bridges up at 25-35 as a starting point for 2-3" letters. Some fonts will take more, some less.
