1650 draw amps
Could somebody tell me how amps a 1650 will draw at cutting 100 amps?

Re: 1650 draw amps
The Powermax1650 is designed to operate on three phase input line voltages between 200 volts and 600 volts, It can cut materials from thin gauge to over 1-1/2", with a maximum pierce capacity of 3/4".
The actual amperage draw at 100 amps will depend on what input voltage the machine is operating on....as well as what thickness material you are cutting. The specifications section of the manual suggest what maximum amperage will be drawn at a variety of different input voltages, assuming you are cutting material of about 1" thickness:
- at 200-208 input line voltage expect the 1650 to draw 41 to 53 amps
-at 230-240 input line voltage expect the 1650 to draw 38 to 46 amps
- at 480 input line voltage expect the 1650 to draw 20 to 22 amps
- at 600 input line voltage expect the 1650 to draw 19 to 21 amps
Hope this helps out,
