according to hypertherm chart for powermax 85 using 45 amp consumables i got this .120 comes out to 3/25" which i would guess using the hypertherm chart is kind of in between 3/32" and 1/16
hypertherm spec is for pmx85 is
1/16 .1 pierce delay 325ipm 136volt for best quality
3/32 .2 pierce delay 200ipm 136volt

my guess would be somewhere in between those on low amp comsumables increased feed speeds with higher amperage
65amp consumables in 1/16'' show feed speed at 365ipm 121 volts

my very very very uneducated assumption... im sure jim will let you know (and i can see how close i got) :?

Use the cut charts in the operators manual.

This.....right out of the Powermax1000 operators manual....should help!

40 amp shielded consumables

Shield: 120930
Retaining Cap: 120928
Nozzle: 120932
Electrode: 120926
Swirl ring: 120925

Aluminum specs, 1/8"

Pierce height: .08"
Pierce delay time: .5 seconds
Cut height: .06"
Arc voltage: 149 (start at this voltage and then adjust voltage until torch height is at .06")
Optimal cut speed: 133 inches per minute

Your cuts will look like these on aluminum:
