I have a Hypertherm 1250 G3 and I would say it is flawless. Works well. It can cut 1/2" all day and hardly ever start the cooling fan.
Good supplier of consumables is close by, and the LWS carries them as well.

Re: HYPERTHERM Plasma Cutters - Plasma Cutting Torches
I have been using a Powermax 1000 on my Dynatorch table for a year now with no problems . I like the CNC
ready arc voltage and control interfaces built into it. I have had a Powermax 380 for years that I use to cut up
my leftover steel skeletons on the table after cutting. I feel you cannot go wrong with Hypertherm equipment.
Their website also has a wealth of information and videos. They recommend straight lead ins on circle cuts,
rather than the circular lead ins. I tried it and I must admit, I get real clean cuts on inside circle cuts now.

I have a Hypertherm 1250 and 380 I could not ask for a better machine. I love the finecut consumables .
The tech service is great. The sales rep in my area has been to my shop to help with any question I might have.
Jim Colt the Hypertherm rep that is a member of this forum is fantastic. I will always buy Hypertherm.
