Our newest machine

Post by cutnweld »

Just installed this Brake to replace the old Durma.2020 build year, 2D and 3D programming on touch screen controller, dxf imports and exports. It is 12 ft wide with 126" between the housings. 242 ton capacity, Y1 and Y2 ram axis, X,R,Z1 and Z2 cnc controlled back gauge, auto crowning. Now to see if we can justify the purchase price!

If you wanna play - you gotta pay!

It's nice to see people on the forum that buys machinery to use and not store.. Now I need to clean the drool off my keyboard.

I know I should have bought 10 and put up a new shop to wrap them up in. Maybe once I sell a few guns I can! :-)

I am setting up everything. It takes time, and energy, and money. Soon two of the largest 3D printers will be up and running. We wil have the CreatBot D600 PRO printer going, along with the BigRep Studio G2 3D printer. The others will have to wait a bit.

The fiber laser table is waiting for the shop extension to be completed. The roll bender, and the Langmuir MR1, and the iron worker, and the 27" belt sander, and ... and ... and ...and so many other machines are waiting for the final work to be done, to get things going.

The lasers are (mostly) all upstairs. Some of them are unpacked and staged to see how much room we need for each machine. Several of them have 10 to 12 foot long feed tracks that need to be laid out, so planning this is a task. Add to this, the 48"x96" TYVOK laser that is coning, along with TWO of the X-TOOL DTF printers, a SwiftShape cnc machine, an X-TOOL MetalFab laser welder/cnc fiber laser/rust stripper, and about 25 other machines that are all waiting ... waiting ... for their day to come to life!

Priorities change for me quickly. I am in the process of building the shop extension, but this opened the door to the design, fabrication and sale of metal yard sheds, due to the short lengths of sheet metal that will NOT be used from the three garage barn kits. So I bought (130) 24' 2"x2" sticks of square steel tubing. This means we must now build some jigs to make these shed buildings which will be placed on my front lawn "FOR SALE." When I sell all of them, the shop extension will be fully paid for!

I don't buy anything to "store it." I buy it, and it falls into the queue to be placed into service at the earliest opportunity.
