Torch Height Control (Unknown)

Purchased a Baileigh 5X10 Plasma Table have all the manuals except the most important one the THC I've attached a picture of the unit. i sure would like a manual for this thing.

First thing that popped up when I googled it, watch pdf.

I didnt check all the details for this specific make but it looks the same with a newer layout. I'm sure happy that I can just put this in the parameters for every tool, let's just say.

From your other post I thought you had a Hypertherm THC but after seeing this pic I suspect you have chinese knock off of. You may struggle with getting that to work. I wonder if Tom at C&CNC has a THC that will work for you if you never get this one going, I would look into that.

We stopped selling "Stand Alone" THC's in 2006 . The DTHC is integrated into the full motion control and uses the Z axis as dual purpose. With the advent of Linuxcnc being a Real Time OS with no delay between executing code and the actual motion, it allows for features you cannot do on a THC that uses just the torch volts as the only feedback. Being tool path aware is as important as seeing the road ahead while driving and having multiple levels of information . There may be some stand alone options he could chose but its hard to mix old control technology with newer high speed embedded processor type units.
