Yes sir on the need for a printer, there are many simple things you can print to be used in projects. Or thing that would be great to have, some simple objects, handles, knobs, switch boxes, Just a few

Tom - that is a pretty slick idea shown in the video! Very interesting stuff for sure. I have two 3D printers and use them quite often for specialized projects - very hand - to say the least! My latest project is a little sharpie holder to fit into the 1/2" collet in my cnc wood router table. Very similar to the one Steve did a while back - only as I recall his was meant to fit onto the end of a Duramax torch. Same idea.
