hello all! new to the plasma cutting game all together! i feel like the guy at autozone typing on this computer trying to make it do what i want it to do lol... i downloaded a dxf file of the stepped 20 can can rack from here! looks like it would come in very handy! pulled some measurements on it as i only have a 24x24 table and seen that it was 27" wide, so i said well ill just make it a 16 can rack and trim the end off some! well sounded real easy lol, i can not get that thing to act right? ill get it down to size and trimmed up then i cant get rid of the intersections? blown them way up and cant see anything really wrong? hit J for join and have a solid green border all the way around, check for intersections and still have one?! enough to drive you nuts lol
thanks
Jason

Welcome Jason! You're not alone, many of us including myself struggled with what should have been a simple task at first. It will all come together with time. What design software are you working with?

What table, and what SOFTWARE are you using? It sounds like you are using a PlasmaCam table and DesignEdge software. Am I correct?
Where are you LOCATED? I like to help people in person, whenever possible.
If you are using DesignEdge, note that I offer FREE online training for that software via ZOOM online meetings. Send your contact info to me via a PM, and I will get together with you to help you get up to speed.
If you are using some other software program, I will not be of much help to you.

Which upgrade did you purchase? Only BASIC DesignEdge software, or did you also get the Advanced Design Upgrade, the Advanced Machine Control Upgrade, or the Advanced Height Control Upgrade? I know .. Money does not grow on trees! However, these three upgrades, called "The Big Three" will give you a very capable machine.blue2184 wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 2:59 pm I am using designedge with a gotorch z-2 table that I just upgraded the design software and purchased a second seat...
