The LaserPecker

Post by Joe Jones »

I bought one, just for s^&*s and giggles. It is surprisingly easy to use. it runs off of an app on my iPhone.

1/2 Watt 450 nm blue diode galvo laser
iPhone app.
USB a to USB C cord

Not disappointed!

I am happy with it so far. I wasn't expecting a lot for $279.99

Amazon.com. There are four different LaserPeckers. The "deluxe" models have a solid folding stand, the rotation device, the sliding table, etc. I got the base model for $279.00. I don't need all of the bells and whistles for this little laser.

I was offered a discount for St. Patrick's Day, so I added the LaserPecker 2 to the fray, with the rotary base, the battery module and case, the magnetic shield, the engrave button for multiple copies, and the bluetooth link, etc.

I like the portability of the laser, as well as the "trolley" capability, which I can see as useful in many situations.

The weather is good now, so I am out to the shop to start setting all of this stuff up. I was going to use folding tables, but I think I will just build workbenches for each of them, based on size and convenience, etc. I sure wish someone lived close by. I could use the help!

I also decided to add the LaserPecker 4 with all of the accessories. It is different enough from the LaserPecker 2, and I took advantage of their "St. Patrick's Day" 30% off sale
