What's up everyone, long time viewer and new member. I own a fabrication/ plate processing shop in Central Pennsylvania. I grew up in a family owned speed shop, we did a lot of dirt race car fabrication. I recently sold a 4x8 plasma table and purchased a 5x10 fiber laser.

Welcome to the site G. Build a lot of truck parts mainly for myself and buddies and my table has been the best investment I have ever made. Anyone building car/truck parts needs one. A fiber laser would be sweet but too expensive for me. How many watts is yours?

its just a baby, 3000W but I can see an upgrade in my future. Mostly building automotive parts but I am currently testing some files for jig tables and accessories.

3k is still pretty powerful, thats awesome. I played with a 300w fiber unit for a while but it wasnt intended for cutting metals. Post some of your work if you get the chance.
