I have converted a cnc laser engraver into a cnc plasma unit. Everything works as it should, except one item at the beginning of the process - the torch fires to the on position, and stays on, as it moves itself over to the start point on the part. This leaves a long line of scarring on top of the material.
What I am looking for it to do is first travel to the start point of the part, and then fire the torch on, and then engage the pierce delay. How do I go about modifying the post processor to do this?

Re: GRBL Post Processor
There has been people using GRBL for plasma, I would Google MPCNC and see if you find someone that works with GRBL. Then try to contact them for help. It sounds like you are moving the torch as it is turned on and moving without a delay. Normal plasma controller software with using the G-code to have the delay holding the torch from moving until the pierce is through the metal.
