Hypertherm 30 Aftermarket Replacment Torch
Is there a generic (cheaper) lead for a Hypertherm 30 (old)? Hypertherm said I probably had a kink in the air line to the torch. I can’t seem to get the kink out? Any advice appreciated.

Re: Help please
Nothing that I know of in the aftermarket that would work.
Does the exterior of your torch lead show any signs of anything that would indicate that it sustained damage to kink the internal air line?
Have you tried removing the consumables, disconnecting the torch and blowing compressed air through the lead to see if you can determine is air flow is restricted?
Would be a drag to buy another torch only to find it is still not functioning properly.

No visible damage. And I haven’t taken it off to blow thru it, I didn’t think about that. I just really need the lead.

Give blowing it out a try an see if there is an obvious restriction. Either way I sure there is a way to get it fixed without buying a new torch. Curious what you find out.

What makes you think it is kinked? No air to torch? Have you checked the regulator and bowl? Perhaps there is a blockage internally.
