Did I run out of RAM?
For all those with Chinese Controllers (SH-2012AH-QG / Start Shapon). I tried to load a file with 10573 lines of code today, it loaded to 44% then just stopped. Do you think it ran out of RAM?

Re: Did I run out of RAM?
It could be, but there is a similar thing with Mach3 when in Demo mode. It will only operate with a lower number of lines of code, and optional functions like THC. Is this a startup of a new table or did that just happen after you have been using it for a while??

Nahhh I've been using it a while but for smaller parts not for a complex sign, the manual says it has only 32M memory

I looked at a G-code file that has 1K lines of code and is only 30 k size

Re: Did I run out of RAM?
I agree with Tom - you might be out of RAM, or perhaps another problem with the specific program. You are welcome to post your file here and we can take a look to see if we find any problems or issues with it. I would also check to make sure you don't already have other programs stored in your controller. I encounter the same thing sometimes when I am attempting to load g-code into my cnc turning center controller. If there are too many files already loaded and it runs out of RAM, then I just go in and delete several files until I free up enough memory space for the new g-code file I am trying to input.
