Tom you beat me to it... i saw his video last night.
Definitely a lot of good info on layered signs and mounting. I ordered stand offs based on what he used, theres also an aluminum sign he made in a different video that explains a lot on layered signs.
A little different twist for the guys doing signs, this is an idea that just popped up in my little brain. It is using clear epoxy pour to cover a sign or wall hanger you have made. This will put a very shinny finish to the project as show in the attached images. Now this is slightly different as this is a plaque which was routed from 1/4" MDF but I see not reason a metal one would be any different. I used epoxy from Home Depot (2 part) like this. https://www.homedepot.com/p/FAMOWOOD-1- ... /301826159
The project needs to be very level for the pour process and I use a small acid brush to move the epoxy around to cover the whole surface, it takes about 24 hours to fully cure. I tried to show how reflective the finish is in the images.
