I have a problem with a cncusb controler mk2.1 board, I want to connect a thc proma sd to it, I managed to make the proma work with the stepper controller, it goes up and down perfectly when it does the test.
So far good with that part now what is wrong is when I use the program and I give the order to the z axis to go up or down, it always goes up. It does not make the U-turn.
Has anyone tried that type of controller with thc.

Maybe try posting your question in the DIY section of this forum. You might get a better response to your question about your Proma.

The way a Proma SD is wired, it is between the USB and the driver so if it works from the Proma and not the USB. You may have the DIR signal to the Proma not to the correct pin. I have seen axis only drive in one direction due to a broken wire for the DIR signal to that axis, Try changing the wires to the Proma from one of the other axis as a test. Use the keyboard keys for movements of the axis not a G-code this is easier to do.

Thanks Jason for moving the post to this section of the forum. I figured Tom would more likely see it here.
