Oxy fuel cutting
I would like to put an oxyfuel torch on my table with plasmac. Is there any way i can set plasmac to allow manual Z jogging while it is cutting?

Re: Oxy fuel cutting
You would be best off asking on the linuxcnc forum where PhillC the developer can answer mord definitively.
I don't think it is supported at present. You could play with height override but I'm not sure it will work with the THC disabled.
Linuxcnc supports multiple spindles and $0, $1 and $2 are used for specific functions. See multople Tools in the docs.
A smart enhancement would be to allow normal gcode control of the Z axis if Spindle $3 and above are selected.
Perhaps you can suggest that

Re: Oxy fuel cutting
I wonder if this could be implemented. https://www.cnc4pc.com/non-contact-heig ... .html#list. I think It produces a voltage output which could be fed to the THCAD. Going to check into it a bit more.

Re: Oxy fuel cutting
Looks like it uses up/down signals which Plasmac supports in one of its modes
The 0-10v is an input to control height,
The issue will be outputing such a signal. You may need a seperate Mesa daughter card attached to your main board..
See if you can get a manual.
