Suggestions for a spot welder?

I am looking for a spot welder. I probably won’t use it alot but I know there have been times where a spot welder would have been very handy. Any suggestions, input or advice on something not too expensive?

Scratch I was "needing" a spot welder to assemble layered signs and folded sheetmetal items, i grabbed the 240v unit from harborfreight and have been happy with it. I too dont use it often, but when i need it its always been great.
