Proma 150 w ST-V3 bob

Post by itsjustony »

Hi
I am having difficulties understanding the wiring diagram to connect this THC to my BOB.
Easy way to say it, how do I hook this up?

That will be difficult to answer since there are many terminals on your interface board and can't see what 95% of them are. Are you able to attach the user manual for the interface board showing what the terminals are for?

Here you go see attached image from the manual. This is for the input section on the BOB, THC on, up and down are the marking in Mach 3.
They are 3 of the input pins you need to used for the Proma output signals. Which ones you select will be entered into the Mach 3 setup. These are the Arc = THC on, up= THC up, and down= THC down. The comm signal goes to the BOB com or ground input, This is not the ground or negative power for the Proma unit it is a signal return so do not switch them or connect them. You will use port 1 and the enable to be checked green, and I think the Active with also be checked green. The Proma has a test function and you can look on the Diagnostic page of Mach 3 to see the signals change state as the Proma lights up Arc ok up and down see attached for the diag page listed as torch signal names.

You can download a mach screen editor and move the label. There are a couple of the editors. I use MachScreen.

Why it is only a label once it is pointed out you should remember it. It really serves no purpose other then an indicator, not used but to check it for installation. :HaHa :HaHa

Not a problem it is your time, somethings like that do effect me also but not that one :HaHa
there is a program called Screen 4 which you can use to make changes to Mach 3. I have added snippets to buttons in Mach 3 with it.
