Hi, when drawing up a design, i create them in inkscape normally. And add a colour of the cuatomers choice. However i often use corten/copen steel. Is there a program i can use that adds a rusty look to my design? As ive seen conpanys when advertising online that they show different colour/textures etc.
Thanks.

Re: Different textures on example pieces.
I render with fusion 360 and use a rust coloured rough powdercoat appearance to simulate the cortenstaal look.

Fusion 360 will only do it if you have the paid version, and not the hobbyist or educational version. I can do it with Vectric Aspire or Vcarve Pro, but those are probably not what you are after and are geared more towards wood and cnc routing. I would pursue the Inkscape path, and it would be interesting to know if there is an extension to allow adding additional colors or textures without going thru the process described by Bad Dog Metal Works.

Re: Different textures on example pieces.
I think I tried it and perhaps I could render it, but there was only one fill color available - as I recall. The others are add-ons not included with my Educational version. Perhaps the hobbyist version is different. I assume then that you are using the hobbyist version. How may fill colors can you choose from? Screen shot please.
Thanks,
