Cn2 to dxf conversion

Hello,

My old cnc plasma ran the promotion nesting software which would save as a cn2 file. My new software can run off of dxf and cadcam files. Does anyone know of any way to convert cn2 files to dxf, or any other type that may be used with cadcam? Promotion cnc has "new software" that will convert my old cn2 files but they want over $2,000 for the software that I will never use except to convert my old files.

Any help would be much appreciated,

I have not heard of cn2 files before, Are you able to upload one so we can have a look?

I cannot, the only way I can even open/look at the cn2 files would be on my old plasma cutter that's the problem I am running into. I have hundreds of files that I cannot open or use because they are all saved as cn2 files from the old controll/software

Even though you are unable to open the file you should still be able to upload that file to here. You may have zip it to attach it because it is an uncommon file type but should not be a problem.

I tried that also, it keeps telling me invalid file extension.

Put it in a winzip file.

Rename the files as ".txt" files and send them. They will not change, and they can be renamed to ".cn2" files at the other end.
