This is what I have so far. My model will only be as accurate as the data you provide.

Yes it is a oil gallery, it runs from the top of the push rod end right through the centre(top of the centre groove and 20mm hole) and over to the 18.6mm slot where the silver roller is.

My suggestion is that you mark up these images below with the dimensions you want. You can draw to show the oil passage, boss thicknesses, dimensions of groove in center of bore, etc. In actuality, the only things that really matter here are the physical geometry of the rocker arm. Fulcrum distances, angles for adjuster screw, overall width, bore size, etc. The rest of it is just cosmetics.

Plasmaspider apparently does not support stl file type, so here is the download link.

rocker arm stl - FlashPrint.jpg

I would recommend that you print the part in the orientation shown below and using supports. Supports and raft are shown in green.
Supports and part are printed from the same material - PLA. Supports and raft will need to be trimmed away from part after printing.

This part would be best printed using a 3D printer with dual independent extruders. Use PLA for the print, and water soluble PVA for the supports.

After printing, soak the part in water for a few hours or more until the PVA supports dissolve.

Inside holes generally print a little bit smaller in diameter (shrink) so edit the stl file accordingly to achieve best actual size for round features. This typically involves printing a few times with adjustments in between until the desired sizes are achieved.

If printing using same material for both supports and part, then the print time will be shorter - but supports and raft will need to be manually trimmed away. This will not be practical for the 3mm cross hole, but for prototyping this method should work fine.

David

PS - Be sure to let us know how you make out with your prototype part.

I’m going to 3D print it out today and get it checked against the original I got the photos of. I’ll do the same with the other piece, I just don’t have access to that only have the original drawing I supplied but I can print one of those out and try fitting it into the cylinder head in my garage
