Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with this Ethercat controlled NEMA 34 stepper motors?

I thought that this is a closed loop system being Ethercat but I can't find anything that actually says it. It's for a CNC Plasma build, I like the simple plug & play of the ethercat control but I really would like a closed loop system.

I would do more research, with to days technology I think better software and components should be available. You also may save money by buying components separately.
