For those of us who believe there is life after death, the passing of any person takes on a different meaning. There is still the painful sorrow of losing that person, but we also believe that our souls live on, and that person is now in a better place, awaiting our arrival on God's schedule.

It is especially sad when a child passes away. Recently, my neighbor's grand niece (granddaughter of his brother) passed suddenly at the age of six, with little warning. The pain is amplified by those of us who are older, and can think of any of a thousand other people who "deserve" to die but live on, while we lose the true angels among us.

For whatever reason, I am unable to make a donation through PayPal. What "website" am I supposed to visit, to donate? Can someone provide a link?

As many of you already know the De Lappe family has suffered a catastrophic loss with the passing of their son only days ago. For 4 years they have sacrificed everything needed to care for their son and the healing process will be a never ending road I am sure. I know that myself and many of you already have Ben and his family in your prayers and i am thankful and blessed to be a part of such a kind, caring community.

Being blessed with this community gives me the unique opportunity to reach many people and help others when needed and that is the nature of this post. The last thing Ben would do is ask for anything so I will in an effort to ease the burden on Ben and his family right now. Hello everyone. I just want to take a minute to update you guys and to let you all know that your kindness and generosity helped tremendously. Cynthia and I appreciate you guys and what you have done. Initially we booked a nice cabin on a secluded lake not far from home where we took it easy for a few days. The beautiful surroundings combined with the splashing water of the fountain out back helped bring peace to our hearts. For your part in this we are eternally grateful.

The past several months I've had a lot of time off and have been more quiet than usual however I have not been idle. My son has passed and that 24 hour care has ended but now both my parents are elderly with serious medical issues. They depend on me solely which makes it difficult to devote the time required to take in custom orders on a level where it's profitable so I'm switching gears for a bit. My goal is to produce unique files such as this Fall 2021 collection to generate a base income. Once there's a cushion to fall back upon I will take some custom orders again.

Welcome back Ben! It sounds like things are slowly working out for you and your family, and that is great news. I completely understand that sometimes other commitments and obligations might take away a great deal of time from some of the things we like to do. That is a great looking collection of designs you have shown, and many of them just in time for the fall season. Good luck with your endeavors.
