80 amps through a 60 amp tip

So is it bad to run 80 amps through a 60 amp tip just your thoughts and reasons why not or

Probably yes it is bad. It will work for a while, but your tip will not last nearly as long. What is your perceived benefit for doing so?

David is correct, you will burn through that 60 amp tip really fast. Your best to turn your amps down to 60 and just slow down the cut speed to match as per your cut charts if 60 amp tips are all you have at the moment and need to cut something thick.
