Looking for a water table additive now! Whats the 2020 verdict?

I have been running sodium bicarbonate for about a year, intention is to keep rust off the water table slats. works great for that but any splash leaves a thick white residue, really annoying quickly.

I am looking to upgrade to a water additive for my (~22gallon) water table. I have been using sodium bircarbonate, but am sick of the white crust left on everything

Has anyone tried this Everlast additive? Any others I should look at?

I think this stuff works great, Super cheap
