cut path break apart
How do you break apart cut paths specifically between 2 nodes on inkscape

You use the node remove tool, this allows you to select 2 nodes and the space between will be removed. You select a node then hold shift key down and select the node next to it and click on remove node tool. The same process can be used to connect 2 nodes to rejoin, select one node then hold shift down and select a node next to it (blank space between) click on the add node tool.
