corel to cad?

hello everone
first thanks for this great site!
I am finaly getting some paying work but it is comeing through a designer with corel x10 and x12 but is to cheap to get any of the plugins that i have heard of on this forum. So i want to know if there is a way to trace(not by hand) the dxf files that he gives me into arcs and lines that would cut better?
