VFD wiring to run from commandcnc
I have a 220 volt VFD that I turn on/off with a wall switch and control the spindle speed with a pot on the VFD. I would like to control the VFD in commandcnc to turn on/off and control the spindle speed. I think I could use a step up transformer at the 120 volt aux outputs a or b but not sure on the wiring to control the spindle speed from commandcnc.

To switch it, you could use a 120v relay to switch the start/stop connections on the vfd. They should be low voltage. Plug it into one of the output plugs.
The speed usually requires 0-10v or 4-20mA. No idea how you can get that type of signal.
