Hello everyone,
New guy here (old guy otherwise!) with a Cutmaster 38 which shows no life at all- no lights on. The local rep says the main circuit board is bad and it's not economically fixable. I contacted a commercial board repair firm and they fix most TD boards but not this one. They said it may be due to certain parts not being available to the public. Does anyone have any idea why this would be so and what the solution is other than laying out many hundreds of dollars for a new board? It's hard for me to accept throwing away a whole machine for lack of what may be a dollar part. Thank you.

Re: TD 38 dead
I believe no lights (including AC) would be indicative of a power supply problem, not a main circuit board issue.

Re: TD 38 dead
TD does have a trade in program if you buy another TD... I got 1000.00 in trade for my dead TD151.
I think I'm the oldest 10 year old boy on the forum...
