Trying to import file

Iam trying to load a dxf file into sheetcam a load it into Mach3 but keep getting an error code(error occurred on line 1178 in file..\Camlib\postmacro.cpp) post processing failed.
Iam new to this an learning as I go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think we will need a little more information....

Does the DXF load into sheetcam?

Are you able to use the "jet cutting operations" to generate the cutout shapes?

Once you have the jet cut operations shorted, are you able to run the post processor?

Have you defined a post processor?? (which one have you defined?? {OPTIONS >> MACHINE >> POST PROCESSOR .... >> POST PROCESSOR DROPDOWN??)

Give us a clue at what point sheetcam fails for you please, thanks

Iam all new to this. Hahah sorry. It seems to load to sheetcam an show up on the red cut area screen. Then from there when I hit post processor that code comes up?? If anybody would chat privately maybe even to help out? Hahah iam lost

You have not created a profile to cut.... there is a lot to go through.... you need to create a "tool" then use a "jet profile" and select what you want to cut.... define a pot processor..... suggest you start at the beginning and work you way through these clips.... about 20 mins each.... time well spent + free....

Tblazenko You not the only one that had problems when starting out Watch the videos like Robert said. There are certain steps that need to be followed once you learn them things will work better, and help for you to have a clearer idea on what questions to ask latter.
