I ran across this video when looking for something else but is shows how to put a hatch pattern inside drawing for easy scribing a project using Inkscape. :Yay

Oh man this is awesome!! I've been doing this in Corel DRAW but this looks much easier and gives so many options. Going to have to get Inkscape and give this a try, nice find, thanks AC!

Happy to help, just some pay back to this site Inkscape has done about 95% of what I have needed to do there are so many videos showing how to do about anything with it.

Nice find! Thanks for sharing. I just installed it into Inkscape and tested it out - it works great.
One of these days I really need to spend some more time learning how to use Inkscape. Up to this point I have mainly used Inkscape for bitmap tracing or converting svg to dxf. I did do some node editing about a year ago with your help, but I have mainly been using Design Edge and Aspire for my vector files. Thanks again!

Thanks for bringing this back up...I couldn't remember where I saw this before, shop pc is missing the extension and I just got my dynascribe installed.. :Like

Thanks for reminding me about that hatching feature. I installed it earlier in the year and sort of forgot about it.
I could spend hours just messing around with Inkscape having fun, and probably not get anything productive done.
