Been a member since April but just got time to get on here and introduce.
My Name is Bruce Willoughby, I'm 45 will be 46 in August. I'm degreed in Computer sciences and am a Registered Nurse, I've been an RN since 2012 where I began practicing on a Medical ICU here in East Carolina at a level 1 trauma center. I got burnt out of Nursing and left due to disagreements with the unit manager and other staff who were overstepping their boundaries.
I did metal fab from 2005-2008 before becoming an RN. In that time I taught myself hammer, anvil and forge blacksmithing, stick welding, hand plasma cutting and metal fab to which I had gotten pretty good at it and was making a name for myself here in East NC. 2008 economy and a baby on the way made me shut the shop and go to a more stable field.
Well, I'm back to metal and wish I never left.
I hope I can contribute to this community and offer what I can to help others (medically or metal work)
I have become ok with fusion 360 and Adobe Illustrator. I build my own PCs and troubleshoot as well.
Feel free to holler at me with questions or concerns of any of the above listed.
Thanks for a great forum and community.
