Just bought an 98z as an entry level machine with minimum investment.
It came with Plasmacam 1.2 software.
Are their upgrades to this software that would compatable?
If so where would a person get the upgrades?
I realize the obvious answer is to go with a new table and Design Edge.
However, you gotta crawl before ya run, so to speak!

Contact plasmacam direct. It will probably cost you some $$$. I do doubt there is any upgrades to it since it is one of their original models.

I have been back and forth with plasmacam they say they cannot help with the 98z i cant even get the old software they want me to spend thousands to get my machine back up and running. Dont know what to do at this point.

I recently purchased a 98Z and am uncertain which software version is needed to run it. I've got PlasmaCAM 3.02 and it doesn't want to work. My table is pretty old (2002) and I'm wondering if I should be using older software (1.2?) to get it up and running. Thanks in advance, any guidance is greatly appreciated!
