Plasmacam wont create text but will shapes?

Hello All,

Anyone know what to try if you are in plasmacam and say have some text to create - you click the text box to create it and then click ok and nothing appears? I don't use plasmacam a ton, so maybe there is a button I need to hit to make it show? When I go to close the program it acts like it is there but I see nothing but the black screen with the small white dots. Anyone have a suggestion on what to try? Thanks so much!

You have enter text first, then click ok, Bill

You enter the text in the text screen and click OK then you will need to click on the screen to place it and then drag the mouse away to scale it to the height you want and click. Alternatively, after clicking OK you can type in an approximate height and hit enter, then click to place the text.

if you didn't up grade , plasmacam put a bug in your software. mine does the same.
