Vibratory Tumbler

I've got 2 tumblers...1 made from a truck tire and another one I purchased from a local starter/alternator rebuilder. The latter is lined with rubber and is still noisier than hell.

Thanks Allen, that's good to know. At least now, if I ever build a tumbler I won't be fooled into thinking I can silence a steel one so easily.

But what about the first one (the tire). Is the tire tumbler quiet ??

It's pretty quiet. Or let me rephrase that. I can work in the shop without it bothering me.

I just want to say I love the idea of a tire/wheel as a tumbler. I think I will build one out of some spare parts in the near future.
