price check PLEASE!!

I NEED A PRICE CHECK ON THIS PANEL, 60 X 32 14 g hot rolled steel , 33 pierces, 1130 cut inches, no paint, framed the outline on the back
with 1" square tubing, $77 4 x 8 sheet for metal!

We have a different formula than most everyone on the board. I don't look at pierces or cut inches, just sq. ft. Most the time it benefits us, occasionally there is a custom or a sign that is just a pain and i feel like we take it in the shorts. That being said. Id come in at somewhere between $330-380 just for the plate. tube steel Id double my cost and keep track of my time for welding etc. We generally pull $40-$85/hr depending on flat signs vs our led backlit signs. Hope it helps....

Been struggling with my pricing, just kind of winging it, lol, using the Excel worksheet on some, square inches on others, thanks for the input, feel better on my pricing!!

Man I must be gouging myself! I figured
-4x8 plate is my cost $2.40 a sq ft usually double that so $4.80sq ft.
-1130" at 2cents an inch would come out to $22.60 for cut inches
-33 pierces @ 25cents a pierce = $8.25
So 4.8x15sq ft = $72.00
Cut inches = $22.60
Pierces = $8.25
Total = $102.85 just for material and cutting
I add a minimum $20 shop fee for consumables depending on project
design time is $25/hr so usually an hour min but this looks probably around 2+hrs so lets call it 3hrs =$75.00
So my assumption on price comes out to $197.85 lets call it $200.00 I dont keep change!
and of course double your 1" square tube price and welding may equate out to another $25

So $225+1" sq tubing is where I'd be at
