Fine Consumable problems

Post by SCHIDTHEAD »

I just bought a new RT80M a couple of months ago along with a fine consumables kit #12888. When I use the fine cut consumables I get a misfire; the torch does a touch off lowers and gives me a spark..thats it. I puth them away for now as I have too many other things going on to really worry about this for now. Just thought I'd post and see what you guys might think. Im running a HT PM 1100 that has been very lightly used.

Thanx in advance

DOH! My own stupidity brought me down. Helps if you put the consumables on the INSIDE of the retaining cap, and not between the shield and the retaining cap...... I feel stupid, but at least I am working now.
