Plasma cutting overhead?
Does anyone have tips on plasma cutting overhead? I need to cut some bolt holes in my barn structure?

Sounds like a fire. Have a hose near by and a fire watch. As for yourself maybe some leathers, welding cap, and full face helmet and cut away from your self with your arms extended away from your body.WillyWeld wrote:Does anyone have tips on plasma cutting overhead? Re: Plasma cutting overhead?
Yep......I have done a lot of overhead cutting in the last 40 years with plasma. Up to 200 amps with a hand torch (definitely full welding leathers!) and to 1000 amps in mechanized applications (cover all skin, 14 shade eye protection, look out for large globs of molten steel!)
